US President-elect Donald Trump is expected to appoint immigration adviser Stephen Miller as White House deputy chief of staff for policy, according to media reports. Vice President-elect JD Vance appeared to confirm Miller’s selection on X, writing: “This is another fantastic pick by the president. Congrats @StephenM!” However, the former Trump adviser’s ‘anti-White racism’ and Project 2024 plans have resurfaced since.

After serving as Donald Trump’s senior adviser in his first term, Miller took over America First Legal, an organization challenging President Joe Biden’s administration, media companies, universities and others over issues such as freedom of speech and religion and national security. The 39-year-old is an immigration hard-liner and allegedly planned to ‘dramatically change the government’s interpretation of civil rights-era laws to focus on ‘anti-white racism’ rather than discrimination against people of colour’.

On Election Day last week, Miller wrote in a post on X, “GET THE HELL TO THE POLLS AND VOTE TO END THE INVASION!!!” In another tweet, he said: “Illegals are raping and murdering American children. All the men of America need to fulfill their duty, get to the voting booth, and end the invasion once and for all.”

Project 2025 Connection:

While Trump has tried to distance himself from Project 2025, Stephen Miller’s group was one of the 100 conservative organizations to formally back the initiative. A video of him ‘recruiting’ for the plan had surfaced on social media earlier this year. However, Miller clarified he had nothing to do with Project 2025.

Denaturalization Project:

After Donald Trump’s win, Miller had posted about speeding up a denaturalization project under the Republican. “Yes. We started a new denaturalization project under Trump. In 2025, expect it to be turbocharged,” he had tweeted.
