Back in July, the Boston Bruins made a significant move, signing star forward Elias Lindholm to a seven-year, $54.25 million contract. The 29-year-old was a longtime target for the Bruins, so it was a big deal when they finally landed their guy.

Now that it is September, the Bruins are starting to truly prepare for the season ahead. Lindholm has actively participated in the club’s captains’ practices and has spent much of the summer getting used to Boston.
While speaking to reporters, Lindholm expressed that he is quite happy with his new city:
“It’s been good. I’ve obviously been here for a month now. The weather has been nice. The city’s been really nice to explore and settle into our place… So far, so good.”
While Lindholm has been enjoying his move to Boston, he is not the biggest fan of one element of the city — its infamous traffic.
“It’s [traffic] a little different than I’m used to. I’m not a huge fan, but I’ll get through it.”
It is safe to say that the rest of Boston’s drivers can relate to Lindholm’s opinion on the matter.
Nevertheless, while Lindholm may not love Boston’s traffic, his other comments make it clear that he is enjoying his time in the city. It is good to hear that he is adjusting well to Boston, especially since he is set to be a key part of their core for many seasons. It will be fun to see what kind of campaign he puts together in his first year as a Bruin from here.
