In an exciting development, JetBlue has announced its plans to launch its inaugural airport lounges at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) in late 2025. This strategic move is part of the airline’s ‘JetForward’ initiative, designed to enhance JetBlue’s premium services and cater to the evolving needs of its valued customers.
“Customers have asked for a JetBlue lounge for years, and we can’t wait to unveil our take in New York and Boston,” said Marty St. George, president of JetBlue.

“Lounges have become an essential offering for the growing numbers of customers seeking premium experiences, and JetBlue’s lounges will further boost the value of our TrueBlue loyalty program as we expand our portfolio of JetBlue credit cards.”
The two locations for the first lounges were chosen based on brand loyalty. JetBlue wants to enhance the experience for two of its largest focus cities. When they open, the lounges will provide passengers with a place to work, relax, or lounge before a flight.
Lounge offerings
JetBlue’s new JFK lounge will cover 8,000 square feet, while the Boston lounge will occupy around 11,000 square feet. Both lounges will feature JetBlue’s blue branded elements, as well as local or regional artwork, functional amenities, and other thoughtful touches.

Each lounge will have mixologists serving complimentary alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages at a full-service bar. There will also be workspaces, free Wi-Fi, and an abundance of outlets to charge devices. Complimentary food and beverage offerings and ample seating spaces throughout the lounge will also be available.
According to St. George, the lounges will feature the same thoughtful customer service touches that customers love onboard JetBlue flights.
Who can visit?
With the debut of its lounges, JetBlue is looking to avoid the overcrowding and long lines you often experience at airports. For this reason, the lounges will be reserved for the airline’s most loyal customers and premium credit card members.

Those who are holders of the brand’s new premium credit card (details haven’t been released yet), TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members, and transatlantic Mint customers will be given complimentary access to the lounges. TrueBlue Mosaic 4 and credit card members will receive complimentary access for an accompanying guest.
JetBlue will also allow customers to purchase day passes and guest passes, which will be available based on space availability. In addition, all customers will be able to buy an annual pass for the lounges.
Other JetBlue updates
The carrier also recently announced an expansion in New England with additional frequencies on some of the most popular leisure routes from Boston.

Beginning in February of 2025, JetBlue will offer Mint business class service on flights to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) from both Boston (BOS) and New York (JFK) airports. The carrier is the only airline offering nonstop flights to the ski destination.
This summer, the airline also upgraded its Blue Basic fare by offering all passengers a free carry-on bag alongside their small personal item.
