In what world do the Boston Celtics not repeat as NBA champions? Quite a bold question, if such a statement even makes sense, and one put to fans of the league by veteran reporter Vincent Goodwill on a recent episode of the “Dan Patrick Show” he was a guest on.
And it is a very good question given the early results of the Eastern Conference play to date with only the Cleveland Cavaliers looking like real competition on this side of the league and the West looking like something out of a Mad Max movie with only the Oklahoma City Thunder looking head and shoulders above the rest. What is Goodwill’s argument for the Celtics in this case, though?
