Boston fans got trolled on social media for leaving early as the Celtics were blown out by the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 of their second-round series.

After Boston dominated Game 1 with a 120-95 win, the Cavaliers flipped the barrel on the Celtics with a 118-94 victory to even the series at 1-1.

With just over five minutes left in the game, fans on social media mocked Bostonians for clearing the stands early. One user posted a clip of their exit and wrote: ‘Celtics fans going home with 6 minutes left in the fourth quarter. Boston Sports fans are the most fraudulent sports fanbase ever.’

‘Is there a fire drill???’ another responded.

Additionally, a picture of a Celtics fan with a tattoo of the word ‘doubt’ with the last three letters crossed out went viral as the Cavaliers cruised towards a victory.

All five of the Cavs’ starters saw double digits, with Evan Mobley tallying 21 points and ten boards. Darius Garland punched 14 points, while Max Strus and Isaac Okoro each scored 12.

Additionally, Caris LeVert had a stellar performance off the bench, with 21 points in 27 minutes.

On the other hand, Jayson Tatum led the Celtics’ losing effort with 25 points and seven rebounds. Although Jaylen Brown had a respectable 19-point performance, he struggled in other areas, with four rebounds and an assist.
