AUM: $7.43 billion

Boston Retirement System has issued a RFP for an infrastructure mandate. The pension is expecting to allocate $30 million to a close-ended private infrastructure strategy.

BRS would prefer that candidates have raised at least two previous funds following the same strategy and that the proposed fund is raising at least $200 million.

The deadline for receiving proposals is by 3pm ET on the 6 November 2024. Proposals after the deadline will not be considered.

The only previous known commitment from BRS to an infrastructure fund is to ArcLight Energy Partners Fund VI. The fund follows a core strategy and focuses on the energy sector in North America and Western Europe. The vehicle held a final close on $5.58 billion in July 2015, which was above its target of $4 billion.
