Delta will open its third Delta One Lounge, located in Boston Logan International Airport, on Dec. 11.
The lounge is available to Delta One ticketed passengers, Delta 360° members sitting in first class, and some customers sitting in first-class or business-class seats on flights operated by Delta partners.
Accessible through the Delta Sky Club on Concourse E, the 6,700-square-foot lounge will offer guests a culinary experience by chef Ed Brown. The menu is rich in seafood options, including clam chowder as an appetizer.
Guests can dine on a three-course meal in less than an hour, said Delta, with dishes like a warm Maine lobster roll, octopus carpaccio and cod Milanese. A chef’s daily local fish selection will be served a la plancha. There will be plenty of choices for guests who don’t eat seafood, Delta said.
Similar to the adjacent Sky Club, the look and feel of the Delta One Lounge pays homage to Boston’s maritime heritage, including a custom-designed sail ceiling. Both the ceiling and bar shape are nods to the USS Constitution or “Old Ironsides,” the world’s oldest commissioned naval warship still afloat, which resides in Boston Harbor.

Subtle elements, like a foot rail at the base of the bar and a metal cage overhead, pay tribute to the ship-like ambience. Bronze accents at the bar and in the atmospheric custom lighting — along with shades of blue marine in the banquettes, dining chairs and carpet — further echo the maritime theme.
To complete the ambience, the lounge overlooks Boston Harbor and the city skyline.
In June, Delta opened its first Delta One Lounge, in New York JFK. Delta opened one at LAX in October.
