Two separate aircraft collisions occurred at Boston Logan International Airport on Monday, disrupting holiday travel schedules.
In a video, it is clearly visible that an American Airlines aircraft struck the wing of a stationary Frontier Airlines plane whilst taxiing to its gate, New York Post reported.
“That was terrible. It was very scary. All of a sudden, ‘thump.’ It sounded like something fell from below,” said Frontier passenger Evelyn Pipione to the news station.

The American Airlines flight had arrived from London Heathrow, whilst the Frontier aircraft was scheduled for Dallas Fort Worth. Both aircraft required evacuation and inspection, resulting in the cancellation of the Frontier flight, merely three days before Thanksgiving. Massport confirmed no injuries occurred.
Subsequently, a second incident took place when an unmanned JetBlue aircraft being towed collided with a Cape Air plane that had recently arrived from Nantucket. The Cape Air aircraft contained two pilots and three passengers. Though no injuries were reported, both pilots underwent precautionary hospital checks.
“It [was] just red lights everywhere,” passenger Caroline Agid told reporters. “It looks like the front top of the Cape Air plane got smushed. It was a chaotic mess.”
Agid’s Orlando-bound JetBlue flight experienced a three-hour delay whilst alternative aircraft arrangements were made.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the respective airlines have launched investigations into both incidents.
