Malcolm Brogdon has put Boston Celtics’ tenure in the rearview

Must Read

Malcolm Brogdon spent the 2022-23 season with the Boston Celtics, winning the Sixth Man of the Year award following a string of impressive performances. However, Brogdon’s tenure in Boston was cut short, as the Celtics traded him to the Portland Trail Blazers as part of the Jrue Holiday deal.

At the time, Brogdon wasn’t impressed with the decision to part ways with him and the situation leading up to the trade. However, when speaking to the media following the Celtics 108-96 win against the Washington Wizards on Friday, the veteran guard admitted that he’s moved past the rocky ending to his tenure with the franchise.

Brogdon struggled with injury during his time in Portland, and has only suited up four times for the Wizards. However, there’s no denying that when he’s healthy, he’s an impactful member of a rotation. He will likely be focused on rebuilding his value around the NBA in the coming months, and either helping the Wizards or biding his time for a trade.
