A food, wine, and spirits festival at sea with celebrity chefs leaves from Boston in 2025.

Chefs Making Waves: Destination New England, a cruise with award-winning chefs, TV personalities, cookbook authors, and more, will leave Boston on the Norwegian Gem and travel to Portland, Maine, and Saint John, New Brunswick October 24-28 in 2025.

Foodies will cruise with big names in the food and restaurant industry, including Jamie Bissonnette, Alton Brown, Alex Guarnaschelli, Anne Burrell, Esther Choi, Eric Adjepong, Jeff Mauro, Andrew Zimmern, and more.

Cruisers will enjoy cooking demonstrations, culinary conversations, restaurant takeovers, and buffet spotlights showcasing seasonal dishes favored by the top chefs.

“There truly isn’t a better way for a foodie to enjoy the bounty of fall!” wrote organizers in a press release.

Aside from the gastronomic experiences, guests will attend theme parties and wellness opportunities, enjoy open bars, the pool deck and hot tubs, a casino, spa, fitness center, sports court, and more.

The first sold-out Chefs Making Waves cruise traveled from Miami to the Bahamas in March 2024 and the second will travel from Miami to Cozumel, Mexico in May, 2025.

Those interested in the New England trip out of Boston can sign up for the pre-sale through Oct. 27, and tickets go on sale to the public Oct. 29 at 2 p.m.
