Eddie Paul Boston, 67, of Beallsville passed away at his home Sunday, June 16. He was born January 14, 1957 in Bellaire Hospital, a son of the late Starling Boston and the late Mabel Lewis Neff. Eddie was a contractor for ACNR and also had been an employee of the former Century Mine near Beallsville for years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by his brother, Starling Boston, Jr., his father-in-law, Harold Decker, his sister-in- law, Katie Decker, and his grand-puppy, “Cy.” Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Zelda Decker Boston; three children, Eddie Paul Boston, II, Joshua (Rikki) Boston, and Rebecca Boston; two grandchildren, Gabby (Makaela) and Zander (Samantha); a great- granddaughter, Oaklynn; his mother-in- law, Lavella Decker; a sister, Monica DaRae; a grand-puppy, “Havoc,” also many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be Friday, June 21 at the Wilson Funeral Home, Harper Chapel, Beallsville from 9am until the time of the funeral service at 11am with Colin Morrison officiating. Burial follows in Beallsville Cemetery.
