The 2024 Head of the Charles is underway.

Thousands of rowers will descend upon the Charles River this weekend to compete in the largest three-day regatta in the world.

The first race took place at 7:45 a.m. on Friday with 60 rowers competing in the men’s senior veteran/grand veteran singles event. The final race will take place at 4 p.m. on Sunday. There will be 73 races in total on the three-mile course over three days.
